2002-08-06 - 4:52 p.m. Well, the MINImax festival at the Brisbane Powerhouse has come to a close, so I thought I'd leave you with a list of things I can't live without while on the road! Passport Sony Cyber-shot digital camera Moleskine notebook- it has an elastic band to keep it closed, a hidden pocket, and a history! I use the large ruled notebook. Clinique Weather Everything moisturiser. Thanks to Tracy for turning me on to it. It's beyond amazing after long flights, makes me feel like I have real skin again. Copia "Jackie" jammies - take up zero room and come in a cute little drawstring bag Mac lipstick - I like Frenzy for everyday and Paramount for evening. And lipliners too, of course. Earplugs. Not just for the clubs and the gigs - they come in very handy on airplanes and in strange hotels! My record box (pic by Qzen) full of lovely sounds from BBS, Phylum, Orac, Lovely Music, !K7, Certificate 18, Hospital, Giant Step, MCMC, Beta, and the like. Stickers to give away - Want some? This afternoon I'm going down to meet with Zoe Spalding and some of the kids she works with at the Brisbane Youth Service We're going to see what we can do about arranging some workshops or programs for at-risk and homeless youth who come to their center in Fortitude Valley. If you're in Brisbane and you have some ideas on how you can help, please contact me or call the Brisbane Youth Service at 3252 3750 Tomorrow it's time to make my way down to Sydney. But keep an eye out at www.djtamara.com for pictures, news, and reviews as they come in!
